Texas Holdem Live — Real Dealers, Real Stakes

The blind is a forced bet placed before cards are dealt. The small blind and big blind rotate clockwise each hand, ensuring chips move into the pot every round regardless of player action.

Checking means you pass the action to the next player without placing a bet. You can only check when no bet has been made in that round — otherwise you must call, raise or fold.

The river is the fifth and final community card dealt face-up on the table. It follows the flop and the turn, giving all remaining players their last chance to bet before the showdown.

Pot odds compare the current pot size to the cost of calling a bet. They help you decide if chasing a draw makes mathematical sense — a core concept in any competitive Texas Holdem session.

A showdown happens when two or more players remain after the final betting round. Each player reveals their hole cards and the dealer confirms who holds the strongest five-card combination.

Hole cards are the two private cards dealt face-down to each player at the start of a hand. Only you see them; combined with the community cards, they form your complete five-card hand.
